The Director Market Access & HEOR reports in to the Senior Vice President Commercial. Responsible for the development and implementation of health economics and outcomes research strategies that enhances the brand. Provide input into the business decisions and the communication plans from health economic and reimbursement perspective. Work closely with national medical associations to influence policy on health economics, and policy reform related to payment/funding issues. Drive advocacy strategies favorable to our client by healthcare providers and payers. Provide guidance and input to pricing strategies based on evolving healthcare payment initiatives.
‘ Develop product specific HEOR strategies aligned with commercial strategy to support disease awareness and brand value proposition to secure market access and formulary acceptance for therapeutic area(s).
‘ Integrate HEOR into brand plans and publications strategies to ensure a managed markets focus.
‘ Design and implement HEOR economic models/tools to demonstrate economic benefits for the organization.
‘ Act as an expert both internal/external for HEOR strategies to increase market access and marketshare.
‘ Provide supporting information to commercial team members that measure the HEOR strategy.
‘ Ensure the development of effective and innovative communication strategies and deliverables for internal and external audiences to ensure effective delivery of brand value proposition.
‘ Demonstrated expertise with pharmaeconomic analyses, patient-reported outcomes.
‘ Participate in key related meetings related to regulatory, clinical and/or legal strategies.
‘ Strong ability to make effective decisions independently while working in a matrix environment.
