SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manage global IT security model, including risk assessments, policy, procedures, solution providers and deliver day to day controls
Ensure the safeguarding of company assets, intellectual property and computer systems by setting security objectives and metrics consistent with company strategy and compliance requirements
Manage corporate compliance with applicable regulations including PCI, HIPPA and global privacy standards
Develop security awareness programs
Participate in a leadership team that develops and executes IT strategy
Work with consultants as appropriate for independent security audits
Conduct and manage audits of IT general controls and security areas
Act as a liaison with external auditors for IT reviews
Develop and recommend security budget. Authorize expenditures in accordance with approved budget.
Ensure that company assets are secured
Lead company Business Continuity Plan (BCP) process

QUALIFICATIONS

Solid understanding of information security best practices and hands-on experience with SIEM tools
Current knowledge of PCI standards and compliance programs
An articulate and persuasive leader who can serve as an effective member of the IT management team while demonstrating hands-on security skills and experience
Ability to communicate security related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders
Customer service approach to security
Experience with business continuity planning, auditing, and risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiation
Experience managing department budgets
Ability to build and deliver on performance metrics and service level agreements
Process-oriented, with experience implementing processes, policies and procedures

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Sciences or Business
5-8 years related experience, including IT security management roles
Hands-on experience using relevant security tools and protecting Windows, Oracle & AS/400 environments
Experience conducting security or IT audits with a big 4 accounting firm
Certifications required: CISSP preferred: CISA
